The company Mel Serras de Mértola was officially born in 2007 but since the year 2000 the beekeeper Pedro Pernas had hives because the taste for bees and nature has always fascinated him. To all of this we add the natural wealth of our municipality to obtain excellent quality honey produced in the heart of the Vale do Guadiana natural park.
